I am biased - but Sydney is a gorgeous city. We spent a few days staying at a friend's house in Paddington and did some classic "Sydney" stuff. Logan loves the Opera House - and we saw it from a ferry, a water taxi and even went to see a live "Hairy MacLary"show in one of it's theaters. (The Hairy MacLary series is one of our favourite collections of books.) However, it's hard to beat Sydney on New Year's eve and we were lucky to be able to walk down to Rushcutter's Bay to see the 9pm "family" fireworks show. Sydney does 2 fireworks shows over the harbour on New Year's Eve - one for the family at 9 pm and the midnight show. It was a lot of fun and certainly beats freezing in Times Square.... Happy New Year!
