Beach holiday

Our beach holiday has been fun although not quite what we had planned.  Unfortunately, Dad returned home earlier than planned to work so it's just been the 2 of us.  We had some great sunny days and Logan "surfed" with his new boogie board.  We also had a few overcast days and we hit a local park that has a "practice" surf board.  We've eaten a lot of fish and chips and fed the leftovers to the pelicans.  Logan loves rock pools.  However, it's hard to beat swimming in a rock pool while the local fire fighters test their hoses over your head.  I'm not sure how we will ever return to "normal" life!  Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
